About Lyn Michelle

Raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Lyn Michelle is an artist and designer based in Toronto, Ontario. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Business from the University of Waterloo.

Working primarily in oil, she creates richly textured, colourful paintings that capture the essence of the natural world. Her work is inspired by the places she’s traveled to and a lifelong urge to explore, using light, colour, and movement to invite a sense of connection. Blending influences from Neo-Impressionism, Impressionism, and Fauvism, her paintings celebrate the vibrant interplay between personal narrative and the raw beauty of life.

What she enjoys most about art and design is the creative process–the journey of taking abstract concepts and transforming them into impactful visual stories that captivate, inspire, and resonate with others. Over the past six years, she has dedicated her time to honing her skills and seeking both professional and volunteer experiences to deepen her understanding of the art and design world.
